Spier Illuminates autumn nights

Spier Light Art will transform Spier Wine Farm into a nocturnal wonderland from sunset until 21h00 from 21 March to 21 April. Expect ghost figures dancing in the wind, tent sculptures exploring refugee experiences and recycled bottles forming luminous clouds. No booking is required for Africa’s leading light art exhibition, and entrance is free, but guided tours (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 19h30) are bookable at www.spier.co.za.
Pommery makes its South African debut
A champion of Champagne has arrived! La Maison Pommery, which revolutionised bubbly by introducing Brut in 1874, makes its South African debut through Vinimark. The distinctive bottles carry the legacy of Madame Louise Pommery’s ancient chalk cellars.
