Here at Scout, we are grateful to work with a range of amazing clients on their incredible projects and brands. We’re aware of how much we receive and also, how important it is to give back – in the form of our time, effort and energy.

This has been so much more the case during the COVID-19 lockdown, as the economic crisis caused by the pandemic has negatively affected so many of us. In the last few months, we have taken on a range of pro bono professional work. We have provided communications services at no cost to NPOs and other such organisations, in the hope of assisting others as much as we can. Our outreach also includes weekly volunteering at Ladles of Love, making sandwiches for the needy.

Scout was approached to consult to the Irma Stern Museum team on its fledgling Instagram channel, but instead, we gladly offered to assist this cultural institution free of charge, considering that the museum has been unable to open whatsoever during lockdown. The Irma Stern Museum holds a special place in Scout’s heart, seeing as company director Lauren Shantall worked as a custodian at the museum when she was a postgraduate student at UCT.

We are extremely proud to be associated with this absolute treasure of a destination and urge you to follow the museum on social media, and visit and support this art history gem once it reopens to the public.
